All About Cafe World
Cafe World is one of the most popular facebook games out today, with around 30 million users. It was released in early October 2009. Since then, it has really taken off. The company behind Cafe World (Zynga) may not be the most ethical company in the world. With that said, though, it’s obvious that they know what they are doing, and they design their games so that they grow on their own. Some of their other games (like Farmville and Petville) are also enormously popular. That is because Zynga makes all their games encourage users to invite their friends and get more players. You can invite your friends over to check out how you are going in the game. You can also visit neighboring cafes. And in addition, they encourage you to post updates of where you are in the game on your facebook wall, so your friends will see that you are playing the game.
If you have played Restaurant City (by Playfish), then you will find that Cafe World is not that different. Zynga will often look at existing games on Facebook, and improve upon them and market them better, soon becoming the market leader. Currently Cafe World is definitely the most widely played cafe or restaurant related game on Facebook. You still do the usual stuff such as build and maintain a restaurant, get employees, serve customers, make food and more. And even if another game comes out with more features it would be extremely difficult to ever catch up to the user-base of Cafe World. The other thing is that it is very unlikely (almost impossible) for games with huge followings like Farmville, Petville and Cafe World to ever drop a lot of players, because new people are playing all the time.
By now you are most likely looking for a tutorial that teaches people how to play Cafe World properly. If you want to get really good at Cafe World, and become one of the best players, then you will need a Cafe World guide. Probably one of the better guides out there right now is ‘Cafe World Domination’, which is by far the best selling tutorial on the game right now. Other than Cafe World Domination, there are a few other guides that teach you some good tips, so you may want to investigate them.
If you do not want to buy a good Cafe World walkthrough then it is possible to learn everything you need to know by yourself. But be warned: this is probably going to result in a lot of frustration. The other option is to play dirty and download cheats and hacks for the game, although I would not recommend this because it often leads to problems. So in conclusion, my best advice is to get a guide or walkthrough, and follow that instead of trying to cheat.

Give A Classic Gift This Christmas
Although the Zhu Zhu Pets were only released in August of 2009, they have become a runaway success already. Children across the nation have just gone nuts for the cute little robotic hamsters that include artificial intelligence which allows them to interact with their surroundings, other Zhu Zhu hamsters and the kids who are playing with them.
Apart from the fact that these robot hamsters are small, cute and furry, kids just love the interactivity. The family of hamsters – Mr. Squiggles, Chunk, Pipsqueak, Patches and Num Nums – have a library of 40 different noises which they emit when given the appropriate cue. For instance, if they go into the bathroom of their hamster habitat, they make tooth brushing sounds. If they enter their hamster bedroom then they produce snoring noises.
Unfortunately, lots of retailers have quite deliberately set stock levels of toys in general at unusually low levels this year. This is due in part to the current economic climate and partly due to the fact that stock levels were excessively high last year. Many retailers had to give big discounts just to empty their shelves.
It’s easy to understand the reasoning behind the decision – but based upon the evidence up to now, the retailers may have misjudged the mood of consumers. Popular toys like the Zhu Zhu hamsters and Mattel’s Mindflex game are flying off the shelves. Demand is much higher than supply and it’s becoming hard to find these toys in the shops. This is only going to get worse as we approach Xmas.
Now having seen their mistake, many retailers are now arranging new stock. However, most toys are made in China nowadays. That means that delivery will include a sea voyage of four weeks or so. Replenishing stocks before Christmas may not be guaranteed.
As a consequence of the disparity between supply and demand, it is now possible to find Zhu Zhu hamsters on eBay for over $ 150. That’s way higher than the normal ticket price – and these prices could rise higher still as we get closer to Xmas. It does seem like an excessive price to pay for a child’s toy which, although it is the latest craze, is highly likely to be yesterday’s news in just a few short months.
If you don’t want to pay over the odds for the latest trend, then you could always choose more traditional gifts this year. Classic traditional toys such as Lego, Scrabble, Monopoly and Hornby Dublo train sets are classics with good reason. They are always a welcome addition to any child’s toy box and they will probably still be in use and giving pleasure long after this year’s fad is history.

Free Texas Holdem Poker Guide to How to Make your Own Luck
One of the most persistent discussions in poker is about the role of luck in success, there are those who believe poker is mostly luck and those who think skill is the main factor, today lets lay this one to rest! I’ve been playing poker for many years both money and free poker and in this time have made some real nice money…I’ve also been busted a few times so I like to think I have a good perspective on the issue!
First off, lets consider what skill in poker is. In my opinion a skilled player is one who can recognize betting patterns, understand flop odds, and percentages, and have a solid concept of strategy and theory. I have noticed however, not matter how well skilled one may be, you must account for variance, and sometimes aggressive, even poor play from others.
I believe in conclusion it is best to assume that poker is a combination of both skill and luck where the skill level of the player involved has a definite effect on the “luck” component of the equation in the medium and long term.
The assumption would be based on this conclusion that you have to be both pre flop aggressive, as well as post flop smart. Many times a player might find themselves in a position where they made the proper call, yet they find themselves behind due in part to an opponents luck hitting a one or two outer.
It is very difficult to try and overcome such a situation. This can, in part, be blamed on the speed of online poker hand as opposed to the live game. In the online poker game it is a lot faster and you have a lot less time to make decisions.
Many players believe there are more bad beats in online poker than in the live game. This is not unreasonable in a math sense due to the far greater number of hands seen and played. In addition there is a fatigue factor involved where players feel they are being pushed too hard, or perhaps have suffered a bad beat.
Due to this fact decision making may become irrational, and typical hands that could be thrown away are now played, or even pushed pre flop out of anger in trying to win back lost funds.
Others, who are skilled can pick up on such trends and play them to their advantage, which in turn results in greater loss, and in the eyes of the losing player, more bad beats which he feels was based on luck.
The successful (skilful) poker player is able to manage both aspects of the game. In effect you become able to manage probability (luck) by using skill and so apply the old phrase beloved of annoying sales managers/gurus everywhere, “make your own luck”. Basically meaning that your skill flattens out the “bad luck” to the extent that you will be up consistently in the medium and longer term.
And how to do this? My advice is to start safe and low risk. Go to one of the better free texas hold em sites and practice lots and lots. You will find your confidence (and bankroll) growing and can then take a step up to some low stakes games, and from there…who knows!
