It 's one thing to be in pop culture, but the adoration of celebrity has gone too far waay, Hasn' t it? Take Lindsay Lohan for example, she Hasn 't been in a hit film in years, yet she' s all over the rags / websites / news gossip.

I don’t see an end coming any time soon. In this day in age we are so focused on technology and media that celebrity gossip spreads like wild fire and everyone has gotten so caught up in it that we are all just waiting to see who will do what next.

There’s no end in sight. In the middle ages, it was royalty. Today its sports people, actors, etc. There will always be people that ‘have to know’.

celeb worship is cyclical and generational. you are targeted from 16-30. after that, the media go after the younger generation for advertising. Soon, as you age, you’ll see what I mean.

    this is all about money.

I think as we get older and learn more about who these “celeb rites” really are and what they’re about the fascination will wear off.

Knowing who they are is one thing….being addicted is a whole different thing.

nope celeb. worship will continue. the end will never come. as long as their are idiots who worship said celebs, there is a lot of money to be had and people can get rich easy.

I wish it were today. Yes it has. They are only people who think they deserve to be treated like “gods”. Which they are not. All the Lohans, Hiltons & Ritchie’s need to just get a real job and life.
